 DRUNKEN CHESTNUTS |

24 roasted chestnuts, peeled
2 tbsp (30 ml) sugar
1 cup (250 ml) rum |

To start your Drunken Chestnuts: |

In a large mixing bowl add roasted chestnuts, sugar and rum. |
 |
Light the content with a match to flambe the ingredients. |
 |
Stir continuously to dissolve the sugar. Continue to stir
until the rum has reduced to a thick syrup (or caramelized) and the flame has died off. |
