MARSALA (MARSALA)

This is a fortified wine originally produced in the Sicilian region of Marsala. It's the Italian version of sherry. There are two types of Marsala-- sweet and dry. The dry is used in dishes like veal and chicken. The sweet version is used in zabaglione and desserts.
