Beef stock, beef broth. Both refer to the liquid made from simmering a combination of meat and/or meat bones with herbs to create a beautiful stock. If you have the time and the inclination, you can make your own and therefore, control what goes into your stock. However even lots of chefs buy the ready-made stock for home use, that you can find in the meat section of your supermarket. You can also buy canned and powdered forms, but beware salt content and other additives.
