This is one of my favourite areas in Italy. The Amalfi Coast, in the Campania region of Italy, is one of the most stunning coastlines in the country. It's no surprise that it has been been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Amalfi Coast is a geological wonder: 50km of beautiful sea views, rugged terrain with valleys that run down to the Mediterranean, picturesque and historic villages, and beautiful beaches. The lush natural beauty of the area is astounding. The coastal road that runs along the shoreline connects towns like Amalfi, Ravello and Positano. When it comes to food, the area is known for its incredible lemons, which grow in groves perched up along the cliff sides and perfume the air, and its lemon liquor Limoncello.
