Because it’s beautiful, inspirational, handcrafted and it smells of olives! Way too pretty to keep in the kitchen; it really wants to be seen! That’s why the cutting board should also be used as a serving platter for cheeses, antipasti, and crostini. The wooden bowls shouldn’t just hold salads and fruits. Imagine how beautiful they would look as serving bowls for gnocchi, pasta e fagioli, or spaghetti. The bread basket is happier holding olives, mozzarella, artichoke hearts or sundried tomatoes. Unlike most woods, olive wood only gets better with age. Your investment into this high quality product requires just a little care to keep it in good condition for years.

Here are some simple guidelines:

		Do NOT place your olive wood products in the dishwasher.
		Do NOT use strong detergents to wash your wood products.
		Do NOT let the items soak in water.
		SIMPLY wash and rinse and leave in a vertical position to dry.
		APPLY some mineral oil on the wood occasionally to prevent it from drying out.
