I just got to Singapore where I'll be hosting a Dolce Vita dinner using recipes from my cookbook at the annual World Gourmet Summit. This is a 10-day food extravaganza where locals can dine with some of the world's top chefs, such as Heinz Beck from Rome's three-Michelin-Star restaurant La Pergola, or they can sign-up for a gourmet cooking workshop. It's no wonder Singapore is considered a fabulous food town with events like this!.
It's my first time in Singapore and I'm looking forward to just hanging out, checking out some of the fantastic restaurants and trying some of the local dishes. I'll be spending the next six days here and then I'm off to Hong Kong for a few days.
I'll let you all know how it went when I get home and maybe even post a couple of local recipes.
